Portrait of Marcin A. Majewski.

Marcin A. Majewski, PhD

ORCID 0000-0003-2724-8404

Marcin completed his MSc and PhD research in the group, studying strained π systems and coronoid molecular nanocarbons synthesized using the fold-in strategy. After a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship in Harry Anderson’s group at the University of Oxford, where he worked on porphyrin-based nanoarchitectures, he returned to Wrocław and now leads an NCN SONATA project on template-directed synthesis of large aromatic macrocycles. Outside the lab, he is involved in science outreach and enjoys exploring architecture while traveling; he is also a licensed Wrocław city guide.
